306 Policies on Individual Contributions to Group Project |
This memo explains evaluation procedures for ensuring fair and equal contributions
to your English 306 group project.
Periodic-Evaluation Procedure
Throughout the semester, you may be asked to evaluate your own and each
member's contribution to your project. These assessments will help determine
your final grades on group projects, so please evaluate carefully.
Firing Criteria and Procedures
If you do not contribute your share to the team project, you will be fired from the group and required to write an individual report. (For those of you considering this option, the highest grade you can receive on an individual project is a "C"). The firing procedure involves a few stages: if you commit three (3) infractions, your project manager will inform me, and I will then give you a formal warning. If you commit another infraction, you will be fired from the group.
The following items count as one infraction:
The following counts as 1/2 of an infraction:
Conclusion
If your group would like to add to the list of infractions above, you may do so; simply write me a memo explaining your collectively agreed-upon additions. If you have any questions, please ask.
