Subject: Project Evaluation (individual)
Unfortunately, our time is almost over and soon we will have to say goodbye . . . L. Fortunately, this is your last and final memo J (I think).
Due the last day of class is your final assignment: an overall evaluation of the group project, a detailing of the work you performed on it, and an honest appraisal of your and your colleagues’ percentage earned of the final product.
Do you consider the report (as finalized) a success, regardless of outcome? Were you satisfied with your level of participation and responsibility? What work did you perform, from start to finish? How much of the final grade did you earn? And what did other group members earn? Please be honest: I am asking everyone to make some ethical decisions here about final grades; consider how accountable you are for your efforts and for your final peer-evaluation/self-appraisal.
Though you may indicate percentages somewhat anonymously, you may want to discuss final percentages with one another so that we have no end-of-the-semester conflicts. If there is discrepancy, I will assess the final percentage according to majority opinion, and I may contact all parties involved.
